States and Capitals Learning Game Review
The charming Hippo makes a return in a delightful educational journey through all 50 diverse United States. Embark on this educational expedition to expand your knowledge of the states and engage in ten engaging activities. Begin your adventure by using two fingers to zoom in and out, then clicking on the radiant star.
Hippo will guide you through:
<ol>
<li>Learning the background music of each State Song.</li>
<li>Exploring maps, flags, seals, capital cities, full names, abbreviations, and nicknames of all 50 states.</li>
</ol>
Following the insightful learning sessions, you'll dive into ten entertaining games, starting with exploring eight games for each state. The state will light up upon completion of these games:
<ol>
<li>Flag Jigsaw Puzzles: Reassemble pieces to reveal the flags of the 50 states.</li>
<li>Seal Slide Puzzles: Slide puzzle pieces into place to complete the seals of the 50 states.</li>
<li>Spell Name: Correctly spell out each state's name and improve pronunciation skills.</li>
<li>Spell Abbreviation: Spell out the abbreviations of each state.</li>
<li>Map It: Place states correctly on the map.</li>
<li>Choose Capital: Identify each state's capital city with Hippo's assistance.</li>
<li>Nickname Rocket: Match states with their nicknames to launch red rockets.</li>
<li>Nothing to Do with the State: Identify which picture does not belong – Seal, Flag, or State Quarter Coin.</li>
</ol>
In addition to state-related games, Hippo introduces two regional challenges:
<ol>
<li>Map Regions: Arrange state maps correctly within regions.</li>
<li>Match All: Match pictures of State Flags, Seals, and Quarter Coins.</li>
</ol>
The Hippo provides guidance for eight state games. For added challenge, you can disable help features and customize game settings via the Settings button.
